Located between the city of Siena and the valley of the Elsa river, this modest mountain range reflects better than any other the rural harmony of the Tuscan landscape with its ancient abbeys, castles, medieval churches and quiet paved streets. Despite its proximity to Siena, it remains unspoiled, dotted with farms and tranquil fields of grazing sheep and sunflowers.
